The University Health and Wellness Center is the main heart for  ensuring the health of all community inside Universiti Utara Malaysia.
The center plays a major role in maintaining health, providing good services, give knowledge regarding health and medication.
  

• Provide primary care treatment services to all patient that come to university health center.
• Cater medical treatment and follow up for chronic diseases such as diabetic and hypertension.
• Give advice,counseling and make referral to government and private hospital for case that need further treatment or specialist.
• Ensure the supply medications are the best in term of safety, quality and efficacy.
• Maintain the proper supply (screening, filling,checking and dispensing) of medication to patient by obey the 5B principle.
• Provide dental services professionally to patient.
• Prevent and control spread of infectious disease inside the campus.
• Supervise and improve the food quality and safety serve inside the campus to prevent food-borne illness.
• Develop MDUUM diagnostic services in line with the university's vision.
• Shorten the length of detected disease to allow for correct and fast treatment management.
• Responsible in managing all issues regarding general administration, human resources, physical development of PKUUUM, activity and program at university or central level.
• Handle cases that need urgent treatment and observation by medical officer.
• Give diagnostic and treatment services to patient
• Ensure treatment room and ward in good condition and ready to use when needed
• Provide antenatal checking periodically to pregnant women
